All pulling in the same direction together to get results Dear Kumaran, Thank you for your comment here and the recent one in the Linkedin Wikinomics group. To state the obvious we don't know what we don't know and that’s why we embarked on this. This project was an Open Innovation project which was established by the People who contributed to it over a couple of months (everyone was invited at the time). It's to find out more about Social Media, yes in the workplace, as this is where we are finding it more and more with resilient pressure. It’s this pressure which casts the Emotional Intelligence element into light. I have a passion in relation to the social science behind Social Media and bringing Emotional Intelligence together with Social Media made perfect sense to me. This project has been funded totally out of my pocked with the support of the the Brain Sciences Institute for the Emotional Intelligence scientifically developed portion and their software to run it on. Celia has also give up an exorbitant amount of effort and time in making this all happen. Getting a project like this passed the University Ethics committee was no mean feat. One would assume that those who were integral in developing the survey had the foresight to establish criteria which would allow them to quickly mitigate any adverse effects to their staff, business or personal lives based on the outcome. We all are aiming to make the workplace a better and happier place to be in. Any e-mails submitted to the survey will only be used to follow up with the results and the free eBook. The only tool we have at our disposal to gain trust on this project is transparency. If you are not used to that then please join the queue. We want to change the world and the way we work and establish a reason to get up in the morning. |
